It is an abomination that the Church cannot support widows, orphans, and missionaries because of the grand buildings she builds. It's time to get back to our call of changing lives and put aside man-made religion and politics and the business of lifeless programs.
For you devour widows houses and for a pretense make long prayers (Matt 23:14)
For you tithe mint, cummin, and anise, but have neglected the more important things like justice and mercy (Matt 23:23).
Oh God, break our hearts with the things that break yours and raise up a people who do your word. Call a people who rend their hearts and are filled with your love.

I was looking at NIV that has nowhat was quoted. With your comment, I also looked at another one that has what was quoted. Thanks for your cross-examination.
NIV is questionable as a translation. It is better to look at New King James or NASB for a more accurate translation. In regards to the post, God desires we get back to living out the justice in His heart, and we will. Love is the foundation of His kingdom.
