Hearts on fire

Lately the Spirit has been leading me to the prophecies to the churches in Revelation 2 and 3. Out of seven churches that were prophesied to five of them were called by God to repentance, and three of them were not accused of a particular sin, except that their hearts were far from God. One had lost their love for God, another was more concerned with the things of this world than the things of the Kingdom of God, and another was half-hearted in their pursuit of God. It was not for any evil deeds that they were called to repent, but that they had drifted away from intimacy with God. Their Christianity had become mere pretense and a religious ritual.

For it is time for judgment to begin in the house of God (1 Peter 4:17)

God is coming to His people as the judge. He will come with fire to purify the bride so that she be dressed in white. It is then they will be prepared to carry His glory to the ends of the earth and reap a harvest of souls. He is calling a people who will accept the fullness of who He is, and not to live for shallow religion. Theirs will be a fiery passion for God that will consume them, not merely outward shows of duty devoid of His Spirit, love, and power. They will not be content with worship on Sunday morning, they will live for the kingdom in everything they do, every day. He is calling a people who will yield their whole hearts to him, not just their outward actions. He is calling His people to account because He loves them and wants that they walk in the fullness of what He has for them. In fire and testing there will come a turning back to what is truly valuable. His fire will purify the Bride from man made religion and false teachings that have kept people in bondage. The result will be GLORY!
