It is Gods desire that you walk in victory. He calls you the head and not the tail. A victorious Church will arise that walks in the overcoming authority of the kingdom and sees a harvest of souls that reaches the ends of the earth. They will carry great power to heal the sick and demons will tremble in their presence.
In that day I will raise up the booth of David that has fallen, and close up its breaks; and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old; so that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the nations on whom My name is called, says Jehovah who is doing this. (Amos 9:11-12)
This verse is a promise of a day when the people of God will possess the nations. The verses following speak of a time of great harvest. This is what Jesus called the “great harvest at the end of the age.” The Church will be a victorious army in the end that is skilled at delivering the captives and preaching the gospel with authority. When will this happen? We are told that it will happen after God builds up the fallen tent of David. There is one thing they did in the tent of David- they offered worship and prayer to God continuously. In short, it will be when the Church becomes a culture of ceaseless prayer and worship that ceaseless harvest and victory will come.
The early church understood this because after Jesus gave them the great commission and ascended to Heaven, the first thing they did was to create a culture of prayer. It says they were continually at the temple praising God (Luke 24:53). The fire of prayer brought forth anointed preaching.
As we build a culture of prayer we will prepare to be a culture of revival.
